EDWARD EUGENE HANNIBAL, 69
Ed was borne in San Diego on November 19, 1933, and passed away September 10, 2003. He drove a Grossmont school bus while earning his teaching credentials, thentaught at Grossmont High School for 28 years. He served in the Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He belonged to the San Diego Zoological Society. He was Life Member #188 of the Lakeside Historical Society.
Suvivors include his wife Patsy; daughters Cindy Unden of Lakeside, Kathleen Moffett of Chino, and Natalie Hannibal of Sacramento; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at El Cajon Mortuary September 15, 2003.
EARNEST HEAD, 86
Earnist was born in Imperial, California in 1917 and passed away August 13, 2003, where he resided in Tuscon, Arizona. He lived in Lakeside and obtaind his early education from Lakeside Grammar School and Grossmont High School. He and his wife, Ruth, lived in Covina, California before moving to Arizona. He was an early member of the Lakeside Historical Society.
Suvivors include a son, Michael; daughter Julie Stein; sisters Ellen Head and Allene Savage of Lakeside; friend Patty Heyser, and many neices and nephews.
Memorial services were held September 5th at Fort Rosecrans.
GEORGE P. YULE, 86
George was born in Minnesota and died on September 8, 2003 in Lakeside. He was a flooring contractor for many years in this area. He and his wife, Ferne, came to Lakeside in 1950. They have been long-time members of the Lakeside Historical Society.
George served in World War II, receiving both the Silve Star and the Bronze Star.
Besides his wife Ferne, his suvivors are daughter Marilee Olsen of San Diego; son R. C. Yule of Lakeside; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Lakeside Presbyterian Church on September 14, 2003.
