All are invited to attend a celebration of the Barona Band of Mission Indians' culture, history, traditions, and heritage in a series of classes and events.
  Throughout the month of August, they will be providing tours of the Barona reservation and Barona Cultural Center and Museum as an opportunity to learn about and experience the living cultures of Southern California's indigenous populations, past and present.  In addition, they will be providing a hands-on history lesson to preserve the culture of the Barona Band of Mission Indians' history for future generations of Tribal members, and to also educate the entire San Diego County community.

Loving gifts have been made in honor and memory of:

  Their names will appear on our Memorial Boards that hang on the wall of our historic Old Community Church owned by the Lakeside Historical Society.

  The Lions International collects used eye glasses for distributing to developing countries.
