Most everyone has driven by the little Olde Community Church and noticed the work that has just about been completed on the Manse.  But what you have not seen, or heard about, is that things have been happening inside the buildings too.
  Recently, we had the interior of the building repainted by "Bo" Canady Painting Contractor.  Bo and his family are natives of Lakeside and are very involved in the community.  We thank Bo and his company for a very great job.

  We have also received a monetary donation from the Hanson Aggregates - Pacific Southwest, Inc.  Thank you to them for their continued support of the Society and our many concerns within our community.

  A big "thank you!" to Marguerite Sherman for the donation of a television with a MUCH larger screen with which to view our new video, The Legends of Lakeside.  This interesting new documentary is now available at the History Center for only $15.00.  Hurry to get your own copy because supplies are limited.
