LHS Golf Tournament 2001
Close-out
Elaine Brack

The Golf Committee

Elaine Brack, Roxanne Smith, Bob Gore, Nancy Nowka, Ray Whitlock, and Bill Markle for Scholarships

June 28th turned out to be very hot and muggy. The golfers began arriving at 12:00 noon saying "My it's hot to play golf!"  But at 1:00, when the golf match began, the wind came up and it was a very pleasant afternoon.
Without our volunteers the tourney would not be successful.  Thank you: Barbara and Ray Whitlock, Betty and Rod McMillen, Elaine and Chuck Brack, Angie and Bob Gore, Nancy Nowka, Roxanne Smith, Chris Herzog, Lee Bost and Mary Neal.

Special Thanks To

Deans Photo, The Wrangler BBQ of El Cajon, Discount Signs and Banners, and Willowbrook for use of all their facilities (plus their staff . . . John and Sam).

This years Golf Tourney was successful and is providing money for the "Scholarship Fund" and the painting of the interior of our little Olde Church.
A scholarship recipient for the year 2000 was a Senior from El Cap.  Her name is Ginger Ruiz.  She will be attending Arkansas Tec University in the Fall.  Her plan is to become a Park Ranger.
THANK YOU to all for the continued support of the Golf Tourney.

Watch for the date for the Golf Tourney 2002!
