Each year I call you for baked goods for our Christmas Home Tour. Each year your response is truly gratifying. This year you outdid yourselves. After the tour, we had a marvelous amount of school children visit us to see our new museum . . . any leftovers were quickly devoured! Your efforts are truly appreciated.

    The Historical Society had the Congress of History visit on November 20, 2004 for their meeting. They were especially interested in visiting our Museum to see the "Teddy Bear Picnic" and the display about Lakeside's own "Flossie Beadle." We were asked to provide refreshments for the groups meeting. Again people came through with the help needed to make their visit pleasant. Big thanks to Elaine Brnck, Betty McMillen, Estella Sommerville, Donna Swink, Pat Ellwood and Chris Herzog for their help. The day was a huge success for everyone involved.
