Art Show April 28th

An art show, with crafts will be held during Lakeside Western Days on April 28, 2007 at 9906 Maine Street, the Lakeside Historical Society. This is an opportunity to meet several very fine and talented local and award-winning painting artists. Most are from the Associated Fine Artists, and have been showing their paintings in many local exhibits. This is a chance to purchase many unique paintings and, also crafts will be available direct from the artist and/or crafter at this time. A limited number of show spaces are still available. For more information please contact Lakeside Historical Society (619) 561-1886 or Esther (619) 561-0867.

Yard Sale Coming This Summer

Everyone must be doing their annual spring cleaning because they keep asking us "when is the next yard sale?" Well, we're shooting for a summer sale. Last year we held our event in August. It was very successful because of YOU and all the great donated items.  This is a reminder to save your "stuff" for us again, and we will plan the sale for August.  We don't have much room at the Historical Society to store items, so if you could hang on to them until later, it would be greatly appreciated. For more information, call Betty McMillen 443-1133.
