Laura and Steven; Son Robert and wife Nancy of Pleasanton, CA, parents of Hilary and Nick; Son Max and wife Penny of Lakeside, parents of Chris, Ben and Wes; and four great-grandchildren.
  Richard was a charter member of the Lakeside VFW and a charter member of the Elks Lodge 1812 in El Cajon. He was a member of the Lakeside Community Presbyterian Church.  And, he and Mamie ware both Life Members of the Lakeside Historical Society.

  Services were held February 23, 2002 at El Camino Memorial Park.
