          Don't forget the Western Days Rodeos, Parade and the Country Breakfast and Craft Show.  The Rodeos will be held April 27, 28 and 29.
      The Historical Society Country Breakfast and Craft Show will be Saturday, April 28, beginning at 7 AM.  Come on by and have a delicious breakfast complete with ham and eggs, biscuits, gravy, coffee and juice, all for only $4.00.  The beautiful Lakeside Pageant Sorority Girls will be waitressing for our breakfast. 

    Then join us under the shade of our historic trees to watch the Chamber of Commerce's parade, beginning at 9:30 am,  this will be celebrating the 50th year of the Chamber serving our community.  The Historical Society will be having an antique touring car, owned by Gil Buxton, as our entry in the parade.  Members who will be riding in the car are Ralph Anderson, Roberta Calloway, Marcella Williams, Olga Puhn, Richard and Tina White and Alma Dunn.

"A Walk Through Time" Tour:
Historical Theatre on the Streets!
Tuesday, May 15th


  Reserve your spot now on our special tour, "A Walk through Time", Tour featuring approximately 15 actors portraying actual S.D. historic characters sharing their lives in Early San Diego. The tour will stop at many historic locations throughout the Gaslamp, where you might encounter William Heath Davis and Alonzo Horton in the midst of an argument about who is the real founder of San Diego, or be offered a little entertainment by one of Madam Ida Bailey's "staff members". You never know who you might meet along the way!
  "A Walk Thorough Time" features both professional and amateur actors and will end with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception at Rogers on 5th in the historic Louis Bank of Commerce Building on 5th Avenue in the heart of the Gaslamp.
  Tours depart at the William Heath Davis Historic House Museum at 5:30, 6, 6:30 & 7 PM and space for each tour is limited!!!!! Reserve now! Cost for the tour is $15.00, which includes the tour, hors d'oeuvre's and a beverage.

Bricks For Sale

  Would you like to see you family name, business name, special date or memorial for a loved one on our "WALK OF FAME"?  We are planning to do some landscaping at the Olde Community Church with these bricks.  Place your order soon so you can see your brick in a special setting. 
  There are two styles of lettering.  You can have up to

three lines per brick, 15 spaces per line.  Each brick costs $50.00.
