Again, what a great time we are having in the Archives. So many of you have been sharing pictures, stories, and just coming in to the History Center on Wednesdays to share and care about the families in Lakeside.
  We have lost many more of the old times and we are asking for anyone to come in and share things that is remembered about them or their families.
  Most recently we have been receiving many pictures from the activities of the "Race Track Centennial/Barney Oldfield Day" in Lindo Lake Park. Those sharing were: Arli Wolfson and Fred Puhn and most recently a gentleman, Gary Smith. Hopefully very soon we can put all the information together and have the information put on a DVD.  Keep watching for news regarding this planned project.
  We recently received pictures of the river bottom, where Hanson Aggregate is located today.

  Grace Parrott is donating a computer for the Archives and soon will up an running with the information in the cabinets at the History Center. We are moving along with the changes and planning for more. See you next time . .
