  And, by now, you know that Janis and the fabulous kitchen crew -- sounds like a rock band -- put on another great spaghetti dinner for us at our last meeting. It takes some effort to plan and coordinate these meals, and we really appreciate that. "Feed them, and they will come" to the meetings. That seems to be true, as our dinner meetings have a good turn out. Thank you to members and all for coming to the dinners.
  Well, this is just a partial list of the "many hands" who give their time in support of the Historical Society.  I also thank the many volunteers on call for those times when we need special help. Dixie Lansdowne and committee has a special Heritage Day dinner event lined up so I hope to see you all on October 27, here at the Lakeside Historical Society building.
