Emily of Lakeside died September 2, 2007. She was born June 21, 1918 in Gouldbusk, Texas, and was a homemaker and member of the Lakeside Historical Society
  Survivors include her sons, Andrew of Lakeside, Dennis of Sacramento, Carl of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Brooks of Anchorage, Alaska; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held at Santee Christian Church.
